Due to the busy schedule of Benedict Cumberbatch, Broadyway actor Aaron Lazar will shoot his scenes when shooting gets under way for "Avengers: Infinity War." The actor has been in high demand lately so he hasn't been able to shoot all the scenes he would like to.

According to Dark Horizons, scheduling conflicts have prevented Cumberbatch from doing more "Sherlock" episodes than fans would have liked for him to. While "Avengers: Infinity War" is shooting, he will shoot "The Current War" where he is playing Thomas Edison. The movie tells the story of Thomas Edison and he co-stars with Tom Holland, Sienna Miller, Nicholas Hoult and Michael Shannon.

According to Daily News and Analysis, Cumberbatch will come to the "Avengers: Infinity War" shoot when he finishes filming "The Current War." He will then reshoot all the scenes involving Doctor Strange and his face will digitally replace the face of Lazar. However, they are not digitally superimposing Cumberbatch into the performance of another actor as that would tarnish his reputation, a source said.

"Avengers: Infinity War" is slated to become the biggest superhero movie ever made with almost all of the Marvel characters in it. Aside from Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange), the movie also stars Chris Evans (Captain America), Mark Ruffalo (Incredible Hulk), Chris Hemsworth (The Mighty Thor), Chris Pratt (Star-Lord), Dave Bautista (Drax), Robert Downey Jr (Iron Man), Samuel L Jackson (Nick Fury), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Josh Brolin (Thanos), Karen Gillan (Nebula), Zoe Saldan (Gamora) and Tom Holland (Spider-Man). The film is directed by Joe Russo and Anthony Russo. No plot has been announced for the movie yet but it is expected to be Thanos trying to rule the world using the Infinity Gauntlet and it is up to the Avengers to try and stop him.
