HTC has already confirmed carrier-branded HTC 10 units will start receiving the update in early 2017. The T-Mobile is among the first wireless carriers in the U.S. to gives some of its subscribers a big surprise this early new year with a surprise rollout of the Android Nougat update to HTC 10 users.

The carrier's over-the-air (OTA) Nougat update, which first came in the first week of 2017 for the HTC 10, has been a big news for T-Mobile subscribers.

T-Mobile's Android 7.0 Nougat Update For HTC 10

According to the Android Police, The HTC 10 Android 7.0 update has finally arrived, bringing all those nifty features and security enhancements with the latest version of Android. However, the Nougat update is not announced on the T-Mobile official page yet. But some T-Mobile subscribers using the HTC 10 device have reported already receiving Android 7.0 update.

Users can now check for the update now, they just go to the HTC 10's Settings and then the Software Updates and finally go for the Check Now option.

Before updating the HTC 10 device, users will need to know that the entire update takes up 1.22 GB of memory. They need to make sure that they have enough space available for the Nougat update.

Android 7.0 Nougat Update hits also LG G Pad X .80

The LG G Pad X 8.0, another device sold by the US wireless carrier T-Mobile, is also eligible for the Nougat update, according to PhoneArena.

However, the only difference is that the update via OTA is not available for the LG G Pad yet and that is only available via LG Bridge desktop software.

The Google's latest Android Nougat update allows users to better multitask between different applications without killing the device too quickly. The update comes with a new smart battery function that automatically conserves power when the device is idle. Google starts rolling out its latest Android 7.0 Nougat in August 2016 to its own devices.
