Snapdragon 835 announcement is just around the corner and here are the five incredible features that could give clues on what's coming to Samsung Galaxy S8 this year.

Samsung and Qualcomm have collaborated on 10nm process technology and due to the partnership, many reports have assumed that Snapdragon 835 will be used for Galaxy S8. With that being said, analysts are now looking forward to the chipset's features which could likely give clues on how powerful Galaxy S8 can be.

-          Ultra-thin phone

The upcoming Snapdragon 835 can potentially bring enhancements to premium devices like Galaxy S8 with its small size chipset. According to Qualcomm official press release, the processor can support thinner phone design and bigger battery, as well.  In addition to the small feature, Snapdragon 835 chipset allows more space to be used for other purposes.

-          Impressive camera quality

Snapdragon 835 supports zoom and stabilization - which means, the optics department will get a huge boost on the software and hardware. This also allows faster auto focus and more optical zoom. It won't be a surprise to see Galaxy S8 coming with dual-lens camera module and crisp detail shots.

-          Incredibly fast performance

The chipset is said to gain 27 percent of performance compared to its predecessor, Snapdragon 820, according to Android Authority. Snapdragon 835 is reportedly gaining 27 percent of performance and a smartphone carrying the chip should be able to have smoother and better user experience.

-          VR compatible

Snapdragon 835 will reportedly be able to supply the demand in high graphics VR. It will deliver 60 times more display colors to the powered handset, according to Phone Arena. Furthermore, the 3D rendering capability gets 25 percent of improvements.

This chipset would be compatible for Galaxy S8 as the device is said to have 4K display and this particular feature might be able to live up to the expectation.

-          Less power consumption

While being fast, Galaxy S8 could also be battery efficient. The Snapdragon 835 chip is designed to improve the battery thermal and efficiency, hence, Samsung's upcoming handset might also be getting more hours of life. Additionally, it supports Quick Charge 4 - which is able to fill up for five hours in five minutes.

Qualcomm hasn't confirmed which devices that will be rocking its Snapdragon 835 under the hood but Asus has already hinted its flagship released with the latest Snapdragon chipset at CES 2017.
