Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) Features and Specs

Samsung has released three mid-range smartphones ahead of the Consumer Electronics Trade Show (CES 2017) which will be held in Las Vegas. The most interesting among the three is the Galaxy A7 because of its capacity to deliver such premium experience to the users without having much to spend their penny for an expensive smartphone.

Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) is quite a shocker - from the phone's features down to the specs under the hood. According to The Indian Express, the device sports a 5.7-inch FHD Super AMOLED display and is powered by an octa-core processor that clocked at 1.9 GHz coupled with a memory of 3GB of RAM and 32GB onboard internal storage expandable thru microSD - all of which contribute to the phone's speedy performance.

Furthermore, Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) is powered by a whopping 3600 mAh battery pack that indicates longer battery life and supports Wi-Fi 802.11, USB Type-C port and Bluetooth v. 4.2. The phone is likely to be at par with high-end Samsung smartphones because it is also equipped with a 16MP rear and front camera and features such as fingerprint scanner, accelerometer, geomagnetic, proximity, barometer, RGB light and hall according to GSM Arena.

For the physical appearance, Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) is enclosed in a metal frame with a glass back with dimensions 156.8 x 77.6 x 7.9 mm. The phone is declared as water and dust resistant similar to other Samsung premium handsets.

Will Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) Runs Android 7 Nougat Soon?

Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. However, Samsung is expected to pick on their loss from the demise of Galaxy Note 7, thus, the company is said to provide OTA updates of Android 7 Nougat to the phone in the coming days.
