BioWare's upcoming action role-playing third-person shooter "Mass Effect: Andromeda" may be lightyears away from its official release date, but the game producer is making huge news early this year. BioWare has announced on its Twitter account that a gameplay trailer will be shown at the upcoming Nvidia's Consumer Electronics Show (CES) keynote this week. More footages of the game are also expected to show during Nvidia's keynote address.

According to GameSpot, Bioware's official Mass Effect Twitter account has sent out a Twitter messages stating that environments and additional gameplay footage will be shown at Nvidia's CES 2017 that will take place this Wednesday, Jan. 4.

However, further pieces of information about "Mass Effect: Andromeda" gameplay and game environments remain unavailable at this time. What the developer has only provided was that the game will be kicked off with a keynote address by NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun Huang.

According to PC Gamer, Nvidia's upcoming CES keynote will address the industry's most exciting tech developments in the fields of artificial intelligence (A), self-driving vehicles and video games.

First announced at last year's E3 2015 event, "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is a sequel to BioWare's 2012 hit "Mass Effect 3" and also the first game in the Mass Effect game series to feature an open world environment.

Nvidia could be planning to introduce a new GPU line and demonstrate on BioWare's upcoming game, "Mass Effect: Andromeda" although it remains to be confirmed. According to some hardware experts, the game might use some kind of special tech from another industry player. This could be a high-end resolution output for the Sony PS4 Pro console and Windows PC versions, targeting 4k gaming.

Gamers will get more about the upcoming BioWare's game when Nvidia hits the CES stage and address its CES keynote next week.

In other BioWare-related news, the developer has announced that a trilogy of novels for its upcoming third-person shooter game "Mass Effect: Andromeda," which will be arriving sometime in 2017.
