The Apple iPhone 7S may come in a new 5-inch variant with vertical dual lens setup to complete the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch models. It is also believed that Apple may launch the iPhone 7S and iPhone 7S Plus as upgrades that may replace the reported iPhone 8, though Apple may still announced by April 2017 three premium flagship devices.

Apple iPhone 7S Upgrades

A recent report from Mac Otakara, a reliable source that also reported the removal of the headphone jack in the iPhone 7, revealed that Apple is currently working on the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus upgrades. It appears that the Apple iPhone 7S and 7S Plus will be launched in lieu of the iPhone 8, marking the fourth successive generation of iPhone designs that have not changed much while others are innovating with bezel-less designs.

Apple iPhone 7S New Features

Though in appearance, the iPhone 7S and 7S Plus look very much like its predecessor, the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, the new upgrades bring new innovations according to Apple Insider. For one, the iPhone 7S may come in a 5-inch variant, although conflicting reports say that it will replace the 4.7-inch screen size model in order to catch up with the large display, thinner bezel designs of rivals.

Moreover, the Apple iPhone 7S will sport the dual lens camera that did not push through with the iPhone 7, but this time, it will have the vertical array and not the horizontal featured in the iPhone 6S. The dual lens camera supports optimal enhancement for HDR where two cameras take a single shot at different exposures.

Apple iPhone 7S , 7S Plus and iPhone 8 Launched By 2017

Well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo makes light of the new reports from Mac Otakara by saying that more likely Apple will go for three premium flagship devices, namely, the iPhone 7S with a 5-inch screen, iPhone 7S Plus and the iPhone 8. Apple is believed to finalize its phone lineup when Apple completes its second quarter fiscal year 2017 according to Forbes.
