Ubisoft has fixed "Assassin's Creed 2" Remaster as it resulted in the elimination of a weird-looking background character from an early scene. The face actually broke the Internet as numerous gamers posted about it.

The NPC, according to Eurogamer, can be seen in the original version of "Assassin's Creed 2' Remaster but only in the first sequence which is memory 1 aka the chapter entitled, "Boys Will Be Boys." The original "Assassin's Creed" had darker graphics which was the reason why this NPC's face was hardly noticed by anybody.

According to Polygon, the "Assassin's Creed 2" Remaster was released on both Xbox One and Playstation 4 which brings the Ezio Collection to version 1.02. The official patch notes on the Ubisoft forums say only that the recent update "fixed a visual issue that may appear" in a cutscene in Assassin's Creed 2 as it addressed a problem with high synchronization points and troublesome background music.

Because of "Assassin's Creed 2" Remaster, the strange looking NPC will not be seen in the game's coding so it will be no longer appear in the sequence anymore. In place of that character, other NPCs will be randomly chosen to appear in place of him. Other gamers have attempted to record the footage of the NPC but Ubisoft confirmed that the NPC in sequence was chosen out of the blue.

The launch of "Assassin's Creed 2" Remaster arrives just days before the launch of the live-action film adaptation starring Michael Fassbender. The movie is scheduled for a December 21 release and Ubisoft is pulling out all the stops to make it the first critically acclaimed movie that was based on a video game franchise.
