Android Nougat users are getting a good news. The internet has a list of smartphones that will skip Android 7.0 Nougat and bounce directly to Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

The new Android 7.0 Nougat, which is an Android operating system, has been pre-loaded on Google Pixel and Pixel XL devices. The Android 7.0 Nougat is currently available to download on Google-built mobile devices such as the Nexus 5X, Nexus 6, Nexus 6P, Nexus 9, Google Pixel C, as well as the Nexus Player, according to Pocket Lint.

The Chinese tech company Huawei has officially confirmed that they will be releasing the Android 7.0 Nougat update for the Huawei Mate 8 and Huawei P9 in early 2017. While HTC has confirmed that it will bring the Android 7.0 Nougat update to the One A9, One M9 and HTC 10 before 2016 ends.

Nevertheless, Samsung handsets brought the Android 7.0 Nougat to its flagship Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge on Nov. 2016. The said flagship smartphones will reportedly skip the Android 7.0 Nougat update and will go directly to Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

Since the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge are going directly to the Android 7.1.1, it's likely that the South Korean tech giant will release the same update for Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, S6 Plus, as well as the Galaxy Note 5.

Samsung had been testing Android Nougat 7.0 in a beta program for its flagships S7 and S7 Edge for the past few weeks. Nonetheless, the tech monster has now decided to skip the version of that Android update, Express has learned.

Initially, the Android Nougat update was unleashed three months ago, however, only a few numbers of smartphones were able to install the update. Google claims that the responsibility for the rollout of the Android Nougat update on other smartphones is delegated on the manufacturers. Samsung would be the first to offer the latest build update.
