Samsung has observably shifted its design when it comes to its handsets and now it is standing side to side with iPhone visually. It has been a recurrent scenario too of mobile companies to continually upgrade its gadgets and create versions that is better than the other. A must, specifically that competitions are huge and at its stiffest.

Many would probably want to know which is better when it comes to this new Samsung Galaxy phones that the company is offering everyone this year, when it comes to design, features and specifications.

Design

Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) boasts of its all metal and glass, with rounded corners and a flat back. Trusted Reviews wrote that none feel quite as good as the metal in this device even though it is far from rare. The volume buttons and lock switch have a satisfying click, while the while the microUSB port and speaker grilles on the bottom are finely cut and precise with the headphone jack in it.

On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016) is an overgrown Galaxy S6, which is a little more angular in its shape and with less rounded corners. The predominant presence of glass makes the phone slippery and hard to grip at the same time suffers fingerprints and smudges often. Android Authority suggested to make efforts to keep the device looking pristine.

Specifications

There is not much difference between the specifications of the two phones, Adroid Central revealed that Galaxy A7 has 3GB of RAM, while Galaxy A5 has a reduced RAM of 2GB, both have 16GB of internal memory, microSD slot that can take memory cards up to 128GB in size, 13MP camera with f/1.9 lens, 5MP front camera, LTE Category 6 connectivity (300Mbps down), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, and dual SIM functionality. When it comes to battery life, the Galaxy A7 has with a 3300mAh battery while Galaxy A5 has 2900mAh.

The only difference being the screen size, which is 5.2 inches for Galaxy A5 and a 5.5 inches for Galaxy A7. One major drawback is the storage, with 16GB, however, Samsung decided to bring expandable storage back into the fold with the Galaxy A series, allowing for an additional storage capability via microSD card by up to 128 GB, Adroid Authority reported.As other devices offered in the market, there are always pros and cons to each, it is up to the consumer to buy a device that fits his or her personality and need.
