Furthermore, it is possible that the 2017 Surface Phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. As the chipset is the most common kind installed in the most recent smartphones, Microsoft may consider the chipset for its upcoming flagship device. Other than that, a deal has already been agreed between Microsoft and Qualcomm, according to PC World.

The expected Surface Phone release date is during the fall of 2017.
