Android 7.0 Nougat is Google's latest update of its ubiquitous Android operating system. The big Android update was believed to be rolled out to some of the world's major smartphones, which include Google Pixel smartphones, Sony, Samsung, LG, HTC, Huawei, One Plus, ZTE, and finally Motorola.

Google Pixel
The new Android 7.0 Nougat has come pre-loaded on the new Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL smartphones. It currently available for downloads on Google-built mobile devices like the Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6, Nexus 9, Google Pixel C, and the Nexus Player.

Samsung
Samsung brought the big Android 7.0 Nougat to its flagship Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge on Nov. 9. Today, it appears that Samsung will skip over Android 7.0 Nougat update and instead jump to Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Samsung has confirmed the big news to a mobile tester who posted a screenshot from the Samsung Galaxy Beta Program.

Since the Korean electronics behemoth is going straight to the Android 7.1.1 for its Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, it's very likely the tech giant will release the same update for the Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 Plus, and Galaxy Note 5, instead of using the Android 7.0 Nougat update.

HTC And LG
HTC has already confirmed it will be bringing Android 7.0 Nougat update to the HTC 10, One A9 and One M9 by the end this year, and has a little more than a month to make its promise. Rival LG technically joined the Nougat party in early September when it launched the first Android Nougat phone.

Huawei
Chinese-based Huawei is not coming late for this one. Huawei has finally confirmed that it will be releasing the Android 7.0 Nougat for the Huawei P9 and Huawei Mate 8 in early 2017. So far the only Huawei smartphone that has the updated Android software on board is the Huawei Mate 9.

Huawei also announced an update for Huawei P9 Plus, Huawei Nova, Huawei Nova Pus and Huawei P9 Lite later next year. However, there's still no confirmation from the Chinese manufacturer on whether the Huawei P8 or Mate S will get the upgrade to EMUI 5.0. It seems that both Huawei smartphones are set to be left behind.

OnePlus
Android 7.0 Nougat is also coming to OnePlus 3. But there no official announcement yet on when the new update will be coming. According to the report, the new OnePlus 3T currently used Android Marshmallow, but the company has already promised to update to Android Nougat by the end of this year.

ZTE
Chinese handset manufacturer ZTE has also announced plans to bring the Android 7.0 Nougat update to its smartphones, according to an official ZTE news announcement.

Right now, there still no words on Nougat official release date, but ZTE promised Axon 7 to be a Daydream VR-ready device soon. This means the ZTE Axon 7 will make the transition from Android Marshmallow to Android Nougat 7.0 after the VR-focused Android 7.1 update started to roll out in December.

Sony
According to Xperia Blog, Sony Xperia X Performance and Xperia XZ have both started to get Android 7.0 Nougat. Recently, it made a stunning news when it announced that the Sony Xperia Z3 would receive the developer edition of the Android Nougat.

Motorola
The release of Android 7.0 Nougat to the Moto Z and Moto G devices was first announced by Motorola in the fourth quarter of this year, but the update arrived at the Moto Z and Moto Z Force handsets in November. Many people wondering when the company will finally roll out the Nougat update to the Moto G4 Plus, Moto G4, and Moto G4 Play.

Based on the recent company's announcement, the Lenovo-owned company has already confirmed Android 7.0 Nougat for Droid Turbo 2, Droid Maxx 2, Moto G4 Plus, Moto G4, Moto G Play, Moto X Pure Edition, Moto X Play, Droid Turbo 2 and Nexus 6. However, according to TechRadar, it still unclear whether the iconic Moto X (2nd and 3rd Generations), Moto G4, Moto G3, Moto E3 Power and Moto E3 will get the Android update in the future.
