The year 2017 will mark Apple iPhone's 10^th year anniversary which is enough reason for iPhone fans to anticipate the iPhone product lines. Since the year is special for Apple, many aficionados are expecting ground-breaking iPhone products to be released. They are becoming more curious what models will come out and the likely name of the new handsets.

Included in the circulating rumors is that Apple is working on their special iPhone product lines for 2017 that will have three models --  iPhone 7S, iPhone 7S Plus and the highly-anticipated iPhone 8. The following are the speculated specs and features of the 2017 iPhone product lines:

iPhone 7S and 7S Plus

A red color variant is said to be added to the existing color variants of Silver, Black, Jet Black, Gold and Rose Gold while maintaining the design and specs of the recently released iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. Hardware will be upgraded to a more powerful A11 chipset and its display is expected to incorporate LCD panels.

iPhone 8

The iPhone 8 is believed to be released in two display options, the 5-inch and the 5.8-inch with a curved glass on the back and an OLED display making it the premium iPhone for 2017. Touch ID fingerprint sensor will be used instead of the home button and will have wireless charging capability. Iris scanner may be added to the features as well as 3D photography.

With the rumored great features of next year's iPhone product lines, the demand in the iPhone 7 has declined as previously predicted by KGI Securities analyst Ming Chi-Kuo which is due to lack of improvements of the iPhone 7. The demand reached its peak upon release but declined starting November, MacRumors reported.

To some iPhone fans, it is practical to wait until next year to get a new iPhone than getting stuck with the new iPhone which didn't even meet their expectations. While some are taking courage to wait until next year to get an iPhone 8 although the wait may take some time as there are no signs that Apple is gonna break their tradition of releasing iPhones in September.
