Fans and the Western aficionados alike can now relive the experience as "Red Dead Redemption" comes out to PlayStation Now. As such, fans on the PC who didn't get a chance to play this iconic PlayStation-exclusive game can do so now. As news of a sequel has been assured to these same fans, rumors have circulated around regarding the leaked map for the upcoming "Red Dead Redemption 2," according to sources.

Fans will remember that Rockstar Games' acclaimed open-world western action-adventure game, "Red Dead Redemption," came out in May 2010 for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It follows the game's protagonist, John Marston, a former outlaw who was forced to set out and bring down his former gang members in order to save his family that was taken hostage by the government.

This was one of the well-received games by Rockstar Games and is now made available to a broader audience as reports have shown that the game is now released in PlayStation Now, Gamespot has learned.

Moreover, it was said that the standalone expansion "Undead Nightmare" of the "Red Dead Redemption" franchise has also been included in the massive game library of PlayStation Now.

For those unfamiliar, Sony Interactive Entertainment's PlayStation Now (PS Now) is a cloud gaming service that allows players to access tons of original games that were released for the PlayStation 3 consoles.

As such, fans on the PC and those who haven't played "Red Dead Redemption" can now enjoy the game via PlayStation Now by subscribing to the streaming service.

In other news, Rockstar Games and Take-Two's "Red Dead Redemption 2" was reported to be well on its way for a 2017 release date, University Herald noted. It was mentioned therein that the latest installment to the franchise will feature a more unforgiving Western world.

With fans highly-anticipating the release of "Red Dead Redemption 2," rumors have been circulating around that the recently leaked map for the game is indeed accurate, PC Advisor reported.

The source cited a post on NeoGAF by a user named Mideon who uploaded an image of a leaked map for "Red Dead Redemption 2." Despite the original photo being taken down, fans can sift through the thread to see the leaked map reposted by other users.

If the rumors hold true, it seems that fans of the franchise can expect a larger world for "Red Dead Redemption 2," which is slated for a 2017 release date.

For now, they can enjoy the original PS3 title "Red Dead Redemption" via PlayStation Now.
