Asus has officially announced its upcoming event, Asus Zennovation, that will be held at CES 2017 in Las Vegas

Asus Zennovation Event at CES 2017: Will there be Zenfone 4?

While there is no word on what's going to be revealed, the invitation reads 'experience our latest innovations that will expand your vision and stretch your imagination'.

A couple of sources suggest that Zenfone 4 will be the star of the show, including a Snapdragon 835 chipset that will power the device, GSM Arena reported. The said SoC is not mentioned in any Zennovation press release but Qualcomm logo is seen on the top left corner next to Asus logo.

Asus Zenfone 4 will likely be another overly-specced, pocket-friendly device - which will make it one of the best-buy smartphone in 2017.

Its predecessor, Zenfone 3, was released earlier this year - sporting 5.5-inch display, a whopping 4 GB RAM, 16 MP rear camera fully equipped with high-end features; and a non-removable 3,000 mAh battery.

Asus has managed to be on the spotlight in the world of technology. Asus Zenfone 3 is well received in the mid and entry level markets. And it has proven to be a well-priced smartphone brand that's worth to consider.

Asus Zennovation will reveal a Snapdragon 835-powered device?

With the Snapdragon logo being the only clue in the invitation, Asus is expected to release a revolutionary device powered by Snapdragon 835. The SoC has been rumored to power Samsung Galaxy S8 and Xiaomi's upcoming device, Mi 6.
