Video game aficionados would agree that the gaming industry has taken a lot of steps in coming up with a variety of ways to keep players immersed in the games they're playing in. From analog stick to motion sensors and Touch pads, the latest tech in giving fans a more in-depth gaming experience has recently been geared towards virtual reality. With this, recent reports have shown that the long awaited Touch controllers for the Oculus Rift is now available in the market. Moreover, analysts took a look at the PlayStation VR and how it could perform well in the industry of virtual reality gaming.

It was recently reported that the Oculus Rift has finally released its touch controllers in the market, USA Today learned. It was noted that, albeit the great response from the initial launching of the VR headset, the lack of Touch controllers left players with an incomplete experience of having a virtual hand to interact with the world.

However, fans can now experience a full VR gaming experience, especially so since the source commended the long delayed Touch controllers for the Oculus Rift. It was mentioned that the sensors tracking your hand movements and gestures enabled fans and avid gamers alike to swing and parry with a sword, go fishing using a rod, snipe things using a slingshot, and a lot more gestures and varying activities to interact with in the virtual world.

Even more, it was highlighted by USA Today that fans can see their hands and fingers transform to corresponding virtual objects, via the Touch Controller for the Oculus Rift, once they put on the headset. It was noted that the device would allow players to make a fist or other hand gestures, like pointing a finger.

However, these Touch controllers won't come cheap as it was reported that they'll be priced at 199 US dollars for a pair, which is on top of the 599 US dollars price tag that the Oculus Rift comes with.

As such, Wedbush Securities analyst, Michael Pachter, went on to discuss that the PlayStation VR might be in a good place to contend with other VR headsets in the market, Gaming Bolt reported.

Pachter went on to explain in an interview that since there is no clear market leader in the VR industry, Sony could be in a good place by coming up with PlayStation VR, due to the fact that they're making virtual reality available at a cheaper price compared to the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.

With all these said, it seems that the VR industry is continuously growing and fans can expect a lot more from the likes of the Oculus Rift and PlayStation VR in the coming future.
