Inno3D revealed its own custom Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 VR ready graphics card iteration that will ship with a hybrid air and liquid cooling system that should be available soon. The Inno3D GeForce GTX 1060 iChill Black is fitted with Arctic Accelero Hybrid S AiO cooler.

The Inno3D GeForce GTX 1060 iChill Black hybrid cooling system allows the GPU to overclock to 1569MHz base and 1784MHz boost which is higher than Nvidia's reference base at 1280MHz. Its 6GB GDDR5 memory with a 193-bit memory bus interface gets a boost up to 8.2GHz. In case you missed it, Nvidia's GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card is based on the latest GP106. It has 1280 CUDA cores with 80 TMUs and 48 ROPs, according to Hexus.

The Inno3D GeForce GTX 1060 iChill Black comes factory-overclocked and in order to cope with the power requirements, the unit draws power both from the PCIe slot with an additional single 8-pin PCIe power connector. Inno3D GeForce GTX 1060 iChill Black comes with DVI, HDMI, and three display port outputs.

Inno3D GeForce GTX 1060 iChill Black comes pre-installed with Arctic Accelero Hybrid S AiO cooler that features a 120-mm heat exchanger with a fan, Anandtech reported. The unit employs a pump-block in direct contact with the GPU with a second heatsink keeping temperatures of the RAM and VRM down.

Furthermore, pundits say the Inno3D GeForce GTX 1060 iChill Black cooling system should provide more overclocking headroom compared to air-cooled ones. A well-cooled GPU can also benefit from a potentially longer lifespan and quieter performance for the unit; however, it does require more space in the PC.

Another cool feature with the Inno3D GeForce GTX 1060 iChill Black are LEDs that change color to indicate GPU loads and shifting colors from blue, green, red as load increases. Pricing and availability information are not yet available as of this time.
