Its looks like the Sony PS4 Pro is having some bad days in Japan. The upgraded Sony gaming platform is currently facing an uphill battle in the market. Sales of the Sony gaming device declined sharply after the first-week showing, and the slide will continue for weeks, as reported by GamingBolt.

In contrast, the viral game "Pokemon Sun/Moon" continue its relentless domination of the Japanese sales charts, selling 375,600 units for last week only. The Pokemon's impressive sales performance continues to buoy Nintendo 3DS sales, which is said to have around 71,300 sold units for this week only.

This week, Media Create has finally revealed to the world its top 20 software chart and hardware sales chart. As expected by many, "Pokémon Sun and Moon" dominate the race, and also pushed the Nintendo 3DS higher, far beyond than any other gaming systems in the market.

The game claims the top two spots in the newly released software chart, with the solo releases at number one followed by the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" dual pack version in second place. Together these figures bring up a total of 1.7 million copies sold.

Overall, the "Pokémon Sun And Moon" have sold over 1.9 million during the first three on the market. However, that sales performance is only eclipsed by the launch of "Pokemon X and Y", which sold around 2.09 million copies in its first week on sale.

It's not just Japan that the game is making a killing, It also big in Europe and North America. The game has also become Nintendo's biggest game launch of all time in Europe. While in North America, as mentioned recently by Forbes, it sold over 3.7 million copies in less than two weeks after its initial launch, making it the fast-selling Nintendo titles ever in the North American region.

Released in November 2016, "Pokemon Sun and Moon" are role-playing video games with some adventure elements. The games were developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 3DS game console.
