Xbox One recently added "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion" to the Backward Compatibility library. Several other Xbox 360 games were also added to it.

Xbox One gets "Oblivion" to Backward Compatibility library

According to the official website of Xbox, Microsoft has just announced the next lineup of backwards-compatible Xbox 360 games for the Xbox One. One of the big-name games in the list is "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion."

The game was one of the Xbox 360's earliest successful games and was released only a few months after the console system was released in 2005. It was awarded with several awards during its time, but it was easily dethroned by "Skyrim" as its successor in popularity and gameplay. There are still a few gamers who play this game on the Xbox 360, but with Xbox One's backward compatibility feature, it will be more convenient for everyone.

Xbox One gets other Xbox 360 games

Microsoft announced other Xbox 360 games that were added to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility library. According to the official blog of Major Nelson, three more Xbox 360 games were added aside from "Oblivion."

"Trine 2" was added to the library for the Xbox One. It was an Arcade digital game for the Xbox 360. It is an action adventure game where players can choose three characters to play with it.

Classic Xbox 360 video game "Medal of Honor Airborne" was also added to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility library. Players can choose between the single player campaign or go to Xbox Live for multiplayer battles against other players. They can choose from three different modes for the multiplayer battles.

"Astro Pop" is another Arcade game for the Xbox 360 and the last one to be added to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility library. It was developed by Oberon Media and was published by Microsoft Studios. It is an action adventure game with puzzle and trivia features.
