Academy Award Winner Jennifer Lawrence donates a huge amount of money to various organization in her homeplace Louisville, Kentucky. According to Lex 18, the Jennifer Lawrence Arts Fund donated $188,000 in grants to several organization.

Jennifer Lawrence founded the Jennifer Lawrence Arts Fund just early this year in support of Fund for the Arts. The report states that funding comes from the inaugural Awards in the Arts in April. Six artists and institutions were granted an additional $30,000 at the April event to support their work in changing the local cultural landscape.

The Fund for the Arts, which partners with the Jennifer Lawrence Arts Fund, states that the grants were provided to reach the potential of the arts on economic development, education, and the quality of life to all individuals by producing resources, creating community connections, and inspiring excellence.

The following are the recipients of the donations of Jennifer Lawrence:

$50,000 grant to aid ArtsMatch for Access, a pioneer program to widen access to the arts in the area of Greater Louisville;

$13,000 grant to aid the Louisville Youth Orchestra to grow the training of the organization and alumni programs;

$25,000 seed money to Actors Theatre of Louisville to aid capital improvements;

$55,000 grant to the Louisville Orchestra to play live music for specific Louisville Ballet and Kentucky Opera productions in the 2016-17 season;

$20,000 aid to Commonwealth Theatre Center to widen capacity of education and outreach programs;

$25,000 grant to Kentucky Shakespeare to aid the January production in the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts of "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead."

Jennifer Lawrence has starred in various blockbuster films such as Hunger Games, The Passenger, Joy, Silver Linings Playbook, Serena, and the series of X-men films that include X-Men: The Apocalypse and X-Men Days of Future Past.
