"Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 spoilers reveal what the fans should expect from the show. As Captain Rip Hunter leaves the season, the cast members hinted about the captain's return.

The "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2's Maisie Richardson-Sellers who plays Vixen teased that the Time Master Rip Hunter will return to the show. However, the actress further revealed that the Rip Hunter returns not as the person everyone has known and loved. Sellers also confirmed that the second half of "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 will deal on his return, and will also revolve on his noticeable changes.

Some "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 theories regarding the captain's absence on the show have shared on the web. When all the remaining team members returned on the wave rider minus Hunter, one theory suggests that the Captain lives with guilt due to his past mistakes and was against his return.

Another "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 theory, however, claims that Hunter got stuck in a time warp, which eventually changed him. There is also the likelihood that several time travel has given a negative effect on him, providing the possibility that Hunter will return to the show as an evil version, or something powerful and stronger, Forbes reported.

"Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2's episode 7, entitled Invasion is expected to conclude the 4-part crossover between "The Flash," "Arrow" and "Supergirl" TV  series. The show spoilers reveal that the team will help "The Flash," "Green Arrow" and "Supergirl" fight and defeat the aliens called the Dominators as they become a threat to the human race. The crossover event in the "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 is reported to start with "Supergirl" and will continue with "Arrow" and "The Flash."

"Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 spoilers further revealed that Sara will immediately be charmed by Supergirl as hinted by Legend of Tomorrow Season 2 executive producer Andrew Kreisberg.
