Apple is rumored to release a new iPad Pro model with 10.9-inch size next year. The outward appearance will receive a major change, a nearly bezel-less tablet with thicker dimension.

iPad Pro 2 - the 10-Inch range

Apple's highly-anticipated tablet has become the talk ever since Macotakara published a post, stating that there will be an overhaul on the design. However, the new report suggests that iPad Pro 2 will not be a bezel-less tablet. Instead, the top bezel will still remain at its place for FaceTime purpose.

The Japanese website wrote that the bottom bezel will be made smaller and overall the tablet will gain thickness - 9.7 mm to be precise. Other than the said changes, the new iPad 10-inch range will be equipped with quad microphones instead of dual mic like the current model, while the headphone jack will still be featured in the tablet.

As for the OLED display rumor, KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that it will likely appear in 2018 iPad Pro iterations.

The new tablet iteration is rumored to sport Apple's latest chip A10X processor. Barclay's analysts have said previously that the new tablet range will be introduced alongside the 9.7-inch and 12.9-inch models.

Apart from that, there will be enhancements in hardware and software departments, Bloomberg reported. The new technology will allow faster multitasking and smoother navigation system.

The 9.7-inch iPad Pro was introduced in March 2016 while the iPad Pro 12.9-inch model was launched in November 2015, hence, the patterns suggest that a March release for a new iPad range is likely possible. Previous report from a familiar source corroborates the rumor as it claims the tablet will have no Home button and is currently under development.
