Electronic Arts is releasing another big update for its "Star Wars: Battlefront." The game developer has just announced earlier that the fourth and final "Star Wars: Battlefront" update will be released next month.

The update will be released to season pass holders on Dec. 6, just ten days before the new film "Star Wars: Rogue One," hits the big screen. According to PC Gamer report, the season pass holders will be able to get the update just two weeks earlier than non-holders, but will be released to non-holders on Dec. 20.

According to EA, the new downloadable expansion will have four new maps in which one of them is said to be the planet Scarif. It also reported that there will be an AT-ACT within it. The update will also introduce new heroes along with a multi-stage mode with ground and space combat.

The said feature of the new expansion will closely resemble the Battle Station mode of Death Star, the game's previous expansion. In the new expansion, the game introduces Scarif as one of the additional areas, which is said to be the tropical plant featured in the trailer of the Star Wars movie.

In other news, in celebration of the game's first year anniversary, EA has announced that it will offer all game modes and maps from the three previous expansions for free until November 20. These include Death Star, Outer Rim, and Bespin. Additionally, players who already played over the weekend will also get quadruple experience.

Based on the Star Wars franchise, Star Wars Battlefront is an action shooter video game developed by and published by Electronic Arts. The game, which is the third major release in the Star Wars: Battlefront subseries, is played from either a first-person or third-person view.

"Star Wars: Battlefront" is currently available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
