Fans and the avid gamers alike have been waiting patiently for more than half a decade for "Red Dead Redemption 2" to be announced. As news of a sequel has been confirmed, it was reported that fans can expect the game to have some great story elements. Moreover, rumors have been circulating around as to the game's location.

It was recently reported that "Red Dead Redemption 2" is well on its way after a trailer for the sequel was launched back in October, University Herald noted. It was said that the game will be featured at a more unforgiving Western world.

As fans await for more news about the game's story and its setting, Take-Two's CEO, Strauss Zelnick, went on to shed some new info by hinting that the game will be featuring an impressive story to it, Gamespot reported.

It was said that Zelnick discussed some details during an MKM Partners event. He first stated that they weren't surprised but rather pleased as to the reaction and big reception of the people towards the game's announcement.

He went on to state that the company didn't expect the views to reach that high. It would only confirm that there is indeed an enormous anticipation for the sequel to the critically-acclaimed "Red Dead Redemption" franchise.

He then went on to explain that the game's developer have decided to take on a different point of view and that it is the perfect time for a big, sprawling optimistic view of America again.

As such, Zelnick went further to state that the game will offer an incredible emotional depth where fans can expect some great story elements and gameplay for the upcoming "Red Dead Redemption 2."

In other news, there have been rumors circulating around the web that the game's location might be set at New Bordeaux, iDigitalTimes reported. It was suggested that the rumored location might focus on the bordering areas between Louisiana and Texas.

With all these said, it seems that fans can expect a lot of great things from the upcoming "red Dead Redemption 2" in 2017.
