Samsung Galaxy S7 "Glossy Black" Release Date

The South Korean tech company is said to be releasing its own materialization of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus Jet Black and Matte Black version. According to Mac Rumors, Samsung is heading towards the launching of "Glossy Black" Galaxy S7 before the holiday season ends.

According to some reports, this is not the first time that Samsung has followed the trails of Apple when it comes to smartphone color variants. It can be recalled that the "Pink Gold" color variants of Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 EDGE are allegedly copied from iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus "Rose Gold" color variant from 2015.

The said move from Samsung is expected to bring in more sales and revenues and to make up for the loss made by Galaxy Note 7 due to battery issues. Samsung has already launched a Black Onyx color variant of Galaxy S7 which has a glossy finish, thus, "Glossy Black" version is expected to be shinier, more glossy and slicker.

On the other hand, there are no further reports that clarified whether Galaxy S7 "Glossy Black" will have an international release or just be available in Korea. However, looking back at the release of Samsung Galaxy S7 Blue Coral, Samsung is expected to launch the new color variant globally.

Samsung Galaxy S7 Glossy Black is expected to gather more demands from the world even if the model is nine months already. According to The Investor, Galaxy S7 Glossy Black is perceived to take home more sales its iPhone counterpart, the iPhone 7.

It can be recalled that the Blue Coral Samsung Galaxy S7 an average daily sales of 11,000 units since it release in November 11 while iPhone has recorded 10,000 of sales every week.
