A recent leak suggests that Galaxy Tab S3 will rock Exynos 8890, the processor that scores much higher than the one powering Google Pixel C.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will be more powerful than Google Pixel C?

The leaked information shows that Galaxy Tab S3 will get an Exynos 8890 chipset under its hood. The 8890 series is the successor of 7420 chip, which is an interesting point to talk about.

The Google Pixel C chipset, Nvidia Tegra X1, shows a performance that wasn't able to score higher than Exynos 7420 when both were tested. That being said, Galaxy Tab S3 is likely to score higher than Pixel C when it comes to chipset performance. Moreover, the Exynos 8890 excels in multi-core test compared to Snapdragon 820, according to GSM Arena.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 spotted at Zauba

A recent leak at Zauba suggests that Galaxy Tab S3 will be shipped to India for evaluation. There are multiple units of tablet with a codename SM-825, wherein the description refers to Galaxy Tab S3 LTE variant without further details about the pricing. However, tech analysts' speculations hint at a price range between $500 and $550.

There is no other valuable information regarding the technical specifications, but Sammobile speculated that the tablet will get an OLED panel.  

Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will get a 2017 release date alongside Galaxy Note 8?

The said source further details the possible release date of Galaxy Tab S3, as it will likely happen in the first quarter of 2017.

This could mean that Samsung might be releasing the tablet variant alongside the rumored Galaxy Note 8. It is reported that after Galaxy Note 7 recall incident, the South Korean tech giant might be speeding up the launch event for its successor.
