Apple has already announced that the newest iOS 10.2 updates will be released in December. This could mean that Pangu, the popular hacking group, may be releasing their newest jailbreak tool after months of silence possibly in a bid to outsmart Apple. A look into previous releases of Pangu will give a clue on what could be in store next month.

Rumor has it that Apple has already completed its updates and may be releasing it next month. Gadget geeks are eagerly anticipating the Pangu iOS 10 jailbreak tool, which by tradition often follows Apple's updates.

However, Pangu has remained silent in the last couple of months, which could mean two things. First, the Chinese hackers have come up with an iOS 10 jailbreak tool and are only waiting for the right time to release it. Second, the group has failed to jailbreak Apple's most secure operating system and is still racing to develop one before Apple's iOS 10.2 update is released in December.

Looking into Pangu's jailbreak release timeline will give the needed clues. The Pangu team had a working iOS 10 beta 1 jailbreak that they demonstrated last July at the Mosec 2016, a Beijing-based security conference as reported by iDigital TimesThis was fixed by Apple in its iOS 10 beta 2 update.

Pangu answers by releasing the semi-tethered iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak in August, but this one only works with 64-bits devices. There have been no updates from Pangu since then regarding a future iOS 10 jailbreak, possibly because the team is waiting for the release.

In only a matter of days or weeks, Apple will be releasing its update and the jailbreak community is all set to see what Pangu is keeping. Popular hacker, Luca Todesco, has already demonstrated on twitter a working iOS 10 jailbreak tool, but he is not sharing this to the public yet.

Most hackers know that not all jailbreak tools are meant for public consumption. A glitchy jailbreak tool can give gadget owners security problems including malware. A reddit user once complained that after downloading a jailbreak tool, $50 dollars was withdrawn from his Paypal account. There has been no news to substantiate this claim, but it only shows the danger of downloading an unsecured jailbreak tool.

In the meantime, December nears and hopefuly Pangu's iOS 10 jailbreak. Soon all questions and doubts will be put to rest on whether the Chinese experts can really jailbreak what Apple dubs as the most secure operating system ever made as reported by Neurogadget.
