It is not everyday that a celebrity chef cooks for you. For a specific event in January 2017, Chef Giada Di Laurentiis is offering her talents to support the Girls Leadership Academy of Wilmington.

The Girls Leadership Academy of Wilmington, or GLOW, is an organization dedicated in providing opportunities for families that are unable to provide welfare for their sixth to twelfth grade charter school students. GLOW is working with the Young Women's Leadership Network that focuses on college preparedness and academic responsibility.

With Di Laurentiis's help, she is going to attend and host three events, cites WWAYTV3. The first event will be a dinner for fifteen couples in a private home setting. The second will be a public breakfast and the third will be a public lunch. Both public events are to be held at the Country Club of Landfall.

Giada will prepare the dinner personally while she will supervise the cooking for the two public events via the local staff at Wilmington. But Laurentiis is not only going to cook. She is also going to share personal experiences and stories about her career as a cook. She is also going to share her success story before making it big as a Food Network Star and Today Show constant guest contributor.

During the breakfast event, the Food Network is going to broadcast the event live. The lunch event will feature an exclusive auction. Travel, entertainment and art are available for bid. The intimate dinner event will not only have a multi-course gourmet menu but also personalized gifts from Giada herself.

To those interested to help out for a cause, the proceeds from the event will go to the GLOW Academy. If you are interested to attend, tickets are available at www.glowacademy.net. Guests will enjoy not only good food but the chance to help out families coming from the low income sector and raise focus on education.
