Last month, Elon Musk confirmed the Mars plans for his space company SpaceX. The company's CEO and founder revealed that he wants to have human beings colonize the red planet "within 10 years."

SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has also confirmed that he and his team have finally figured out what caused the Falcon 9 rocket explosion last Sep. 1. He also announced that rocket launches may resume as early as next month.

The explosion has delayed the schedule for the company's cargo trips and, possibly, its Mars plans. Musk confirmed that the problem happened during the fueling process, with the oxgen becoming too cold that it turned solid.

Meanwhile, Elon Musk and SpaceX may have provided a way out for people who want to escape Donald Trump's presidency. Business Insider reported that a lot of people are already considering moving to Canada because they are so upset over his victory.

Some Twitter users have expressed their desire to move to Mars after Donald Trump goes into office. The publication noted that, if ever Trump gets reelected in 2020, people may actually get to move to the red planet during his presidency.

It was revealed that Elon Musk's lifetime goal is to have a million people on Mars because he wants a "backup drive" for humanity. You know, just in case a major disaster wipes our species out.

He also wants to make it a bit affordable. It is estimated to cost about $200,000 or less per person.

According to The Washington Examiner, the SpaceX CEO and founder is not so fond of Donald Trump. Whereas he and President Obama have often dined together - Musk even gave the president tours of the company, he has not spoken kindly of the president-elect.

"I feel a bit stronger that he is probably not the right guy," Musk said at an interview with CNBC, via Business Insider. "He doesn't seem to have the sort of character that reflects well on the United States."
