To say that Samsung has reached its end with the global recall o Galaxy Note 7 is plainly wrong. In fact, the South Korean tech company is dusting off itself and shaping up its 2017 flagship smartphone - the Galaxy S8 - that is perceived to change the smartphone landscape. Here's why!

Latest rumors about Samsung Galaxy S8 features and specs has been circulating on the internet, but none of these have directly confirmed by the South Korean tech company. However, despite Samsung's tight-lipped over the matter, these rumored features have great possibility to land on the 2017 flagship smartphone. 

Among of the rumored features is the OLED display screen that will be wrapped in a bezel-less body. According to CNET, this feature implies a full-screen display that will fully eliminate the home button in replacement of virtual one as well as the integration of fingerprint sensor under the screen display.

Furthermore, the said full-screen display will have a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels QHD essential requirement to achieve a 4K display for virtual reality purposes. But one of the most notable feature the upcoming phone could feature is the foldable display which is considered to change the smartphone industry landscape. 

On the other hand, internal specs of the phone is said to include an 8GB of RAM coupled with Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 chipsets for the processor. It is also likely for the Galaxy S8 to feature an X16 LTE smartphone modem for faster mobile data performance, according to Digital Spy. 

Samsung Galaxy S8 Release Date

Samsung was previously reported to release the Galaxy S8 ahead of its scheduled release date, however, this reports was contradicted through the statement of an Executive Officer that says the company will strictly follow the schedule to avoid circumstances like what happened to the ill-fated Galaxy Note 7. Galaxy S8 handsets are expected to debut in 2017 with no definite month.

Galaxy S8 price is still unknown but according to rumors, the amount will play around 569 pounds for the SIM-free model similar to its predecessor the Galaxy S7.
