A Bryn Mawr College student was so excited that she posted on Twitter that Anne Hathaway sang a Happy Birthday song to her.

What is the "Princess Diaries" actress doing at Bryn Mawr College in the first place? Anne Hathaway decided to make an appearance on campus to campaign for the Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. She, and along with other celebrities like Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry, have been making their rounds across the country to encourage college and university students to vote for Hillary Clinton. Aside from voting for Clinton, they also encourage students to register early.

With a host of celebrities backing Clinton, this increases the chances of Clinton getting the votes from the millennials today. The majority of millennials are in colleges and universities at the moment. And they are easy to reach during the school year.

According to reports, the millennial bloc is the largest bloc that a nominee can get. Which is why Clinton has enlisted the help of actors, celebrities, artists and musicians to help her. And Anne Hathaway is doing her part at Bryn Mawr College. According to the Daily Mail, the 33 year old actress arrived without make up and wore a T-shirt on Nov. 2, 2016. She appears to look like one of the students herself, dressing simple. Hathaway is no stranger to colleges. She studied at the NYU's Gallatin School and felt at ease, like she belonged on campus.

The Academy Award winner reportedly appeared youthful when meeting with the students on campus. Hathaway is with Hillary and she is not afraid to lend her name to the candidate. She is one of the many celebrities that believes Clinton can make a difference. She even lent her fame when she performed at "Stronger Together: Broadway for Hillary" last month.

Clinton has also dispatched other celebrities and artists to her side, such as Demi Lovato, Bon Jovi and more.
