The smartphone world has not yet calmed with the release of cutting-edge Xiaomi Mi Mix, but a new leak is indicating that the Chinese smartphone maker will have another smart device arriving soon.

Xiaomi phones spotted on TENAA

Two Xiaomi phones, which still have no official name, get green light from Chinese telecommunications equipment certification center, TENAA. There are two codes: 2016111 and 2016112 - both have identical specifications and are lightweight too. The TENAA certification could indicate an approval for the devices to enter the market soon.

There will be two color variants for each phone, gold and silver. Sporting 5-inch display, the couple packs 1.4 GHz processor and pairs 2 GB RAM with 16 GB internal storage. The optics department couple 13 MP rear camera and 5 MP front-facing camera. As far as the dimension is concerned, the two phones weigh 140 grams, GSM Arena reported.

They are lighter than the Redmi Note 3 or Redmi 3S Prime. The upcoming Xiaomi devices are reportedly getting 3,030 mAh battery. It is not Xiaomi's standard to equip its device with a low capacity since most of the phones already rock a whopping 3,500 mAh the least.

Other components listed in both Xiaomi phones include Bluetooth, GPS, USB, dual-SIM and 4G LTE.

Judging from the specs, the two devices fall in the entry-level category and the pricing may be a lot cheaper than the recently announced Note 2, Android Authority has learned.

Does Xiaomi plan to enter all segments?

With the Xiaomi handsets flooding the market, the giant phone maker might have it all planned to enter all segments. It has launched the mid-range budget phones such as Redmi Pro and Mi Note, and then moving up to another level by launching Mi 5s and Mi Mix. It can be assumed that the two upcoming Xiaomi phones are pretty much more affordable.
