Samsung Galaxy S8 and foldable Galaxy X could sport impressive features but why people think they could be disappointing?

Samsung Galaxy S8 No headphone jack?

Apple has done it and Samsung may be following it. It could be a huge disappointment for Samsung enthusiasts since many mobile users hope for the South Korean company to keep the 3.5 mm headphone jack. According to the leaks, Samsung is working on its own port so that it may replace the jack, 9to5google reported.

Previously, Bloomberg reported that there will be two folding devices, sporting flexible and foldable OLED.

The detail goes on to say that it will be able to fold in half 'like a cosmetic compact' which could be similar to a clamshell phone. When folded, it will have a 5-inch display and when opened it will have 8-inch display.

This would be a game-changer, but people are likely to pay a huge price for a revolutionary phone with bendable screen, iris-scanner and many other expected premium features.

At this point, Samsung would do anything to recover from the exploding Galaxy Note 7, and rumor suggests that Samsung may even be creating a new sub-brand. There were speculations that Samsung could release the smartphones sooner than expected, possibly at the MWC 2017. However after the mass recall of Note 7, Samsung could reportedly be delaying the launch.

Galaxy X may not appear next year, although it is not a final decision. The Galaxy X is a new category in smartphones, and given the damage in profits that Galaxy Note 7 has caused, it is highly likely for Samsung to postpone the launch because consumers are cautious with the brand at the moment.
