The first teaser of "Red Dead Redemption 2" lays emphasis on tone rather than gameplay, just like most of Rockstar Games' reveal trailers. The sequel to Rockstar's epic western saga will hit the store shelves in fall of 2017.

Rockstar is all set to return with the highly anticipated "Red Dead Redemption 2," the latest installment in the "Red Dead" series of games. Just a couple of days ago, the developer shared a teaser poster on social media confirming "Red Dead Redemption" release date in fall of 2017. The poster also showed a gang of seven gunmen.

While avid gamers were still going berserk over the new "Red Dead Redemption 2" teaser poster, Rockstar Games released the first trailer for the follow-up to their epic western action-adventure video game. But much to the dismay of "Red Dead" series' huge fan base, the 68-second trailer reveals little to no detail. Nevertheless, whatever little detail the trailer shows is simply gorgeous.

The trailer largely focuses on shots of animals and mum characters in a slew of gorgeous-looking backdrop, from forests to fields and Lake Rivers, and a herd of buffalo being rattled as a steam train passes by.

It's worth noting that the teaser poster stated that "Red Dead Redemption 2" will only be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, thus, leaving PC fans in the state of uncertainty. That being said, it's hard to imagine that the recently announced Nintendo Switch tablet-console hybrid running this graphical monster.

Meanwhile, PlayStation has announced that its collaboration with Rockstar will enable PlayStation 4 players to get their hands on selected online content before anyone else. Moreover, the announcement also claims that the impending "Red Dead Redemption 2" is "hand-crafted" to take maximum advantage of PS4.

In addition, the PlayStation 3 classic "Red Dead Redemption" will be coming to PlayStation Now in near future. More details on this are expected soon, along with the latest information on "Red Dead Redemption 2."
