In going through the leaked specs and features of the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016, the following practical reasons have been gathered as to why buyers need to re-think purchasing the latest version of MacBook Pro:

Minor Design Upgrades

It's been four years since MacBook Pro received a major overhaul, thus, it is expected for Apple to released a portable machine with an innovative design. MacBook Pro 2016 will be slimmer and thinner with secondary touchscreen above the keyboard, but nonetheless, this is not what the buyers are expecting from the new laptop.

There are recent reports claiming about the inclusion of Sonder's dynamic keyboards with E ink. However, those are contradicted by some reports, suggesting that the magic keyboard is likely to come in the 2018 versions of MacBook Pro, Digital Trends has learned.

Does NOT Run a Kaby Lake Chipset

MacBook Pro 2016 is expected to be a revolutionary machine, but it seems like hopes die down when the netizens heard that an Intel Skylake chipsets will be installed at the heart of the machine instead of Kaby Lake. Although Skylake chipsets series will boosts the laptop performance by 20 percent compared to its predecessors, the Kaby Lake will turn out the machine into a beast one.

New Mac is Similar to the Old MacBook Air

There are rumors saying that MacBook Pro 2016 features will be similar to that of an old retina MacBook Air, but with a little price difference. According to CNET, the reported price increase might be due to a higher storage capacity, utilization of AMD Polaris graphic chipsets and replacement of old processors with Intel Skylake.
