It's a long way away, but here is part of what we expect will happen in "Game of Thrones" Season 7

1. Winter Is Coming (late this year)

The finale episode of Season 6 it simply means there is something big coming in Season 7. However, it has been announced that the series would be filming late to actually take advantage of the winter season and will film until late February 2017. So indeed, winter is coming in "Game of Thrones" Season 7, but it will be coming summer of 2017 to our screens, Entertainment Weekly reported.

2. The still living returning cast

For a show that kills off its characters regularly, here are all the returnees who by sheer luck remain standing to this day.

The Lannister's Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), Nikolaj Costner-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) and Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister) are back. Tyrion is now the Queen's Hand and is currently on a boat with the queen heading for Westeros. Jaime watched Cersei be crowned Queen.

Emilia Clarke as Daenerys Targaryen is on her way to Westeros. Kit Harrington as Jon Snow, New King of the North is sure to make a comeback, so is Sophie Turner as Sansa Stark. Ian Glenn has been spotted by fans meaning Jorah Mormont will be back as well. Has he found a cure for Greyscale? We will find out soon enough.

3. New characters

Jim Broadbent (suspected to play Maester Marwyn), Joseph Quinn as Koner (a new character not in the books). The Young Lord and Lovely Lady (rumored to be Megan Parkinson).

4. The mother of dragons arrival in Westeros

Her sea travel has to lead somewhere. She will arrive with Tyrion, her new hand, and her 3 dragons.

5. Cersei will be worse than ever

Losing all her anchor to humanity (her children), we expect Cersei to be a ruthless and bloodthirsty tyrant in Season 7. Will it fare well with Jaime?

6. Mainly coming from two fronts, King's Landing will have a beating.

7. Movieweb says: There will only be 7 episodes in "Game of Thrones" Season 7.
