In a latest political ad campaign, stars of the hip-hop soap opera "Empire" slammed Trump and endorsed Hillary Clinton.

"Empire" stars in the ad were "Empire" matriarch Taraji P. Henson, Bryshere Gray, Jussie Smollett, Trai Byers, Tasha Smith, Grace Byers and Gabourey Sibide, while "Empire" patriarch Terence Howard is absent in the ad. "Empire" Director and co-creator Lee Daniels also made an appearance and directed the one-minute ad.

The ad communicates why it is important to vote for Clinton and to consider what is at stake primarily for the African-American community. They state there is only one person in the (presidential) race who said, Black Lives Matter.

Names of high-profile victims of gun violence Freddie Gray, Trayvon Martin, Sandra Bland, Philando Castile were mentioned pressing that if Trump gets elected, it will only get worse. Aside from urging people to vote, they also enumerated Clinton's stances on gun control, women's rights and healthcare.

Last March, The Hollywood Reporter caught up with Daniels at the Human Rights Campaign Gala. He says it's time for people to start taking Trump seriously. He continued saying he's not afraid of anything and that he dodged real bullets before. Now declares he is afraid because he says, "they are coming for us all."

Daniel, a staunch Clinton supporter, solidified his support for the Democrat presidential candidate by coming out with the ad. The Oscar-nominated director was also a speaker at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia.

The cast of "Empire" joins the ranks of other celebrities endorsing Clinton namely Madonna, Meryl Streep, Eva Longoria, George Clooney and Leonardo DiCaprio. All slammed Trump for racist and offensive comments such as tagging illegal Mexican immigrants in the states as criminals and rapists. They also say Trump offended the African-American Community saying they have no education, have bad jobs and that they live in poverty.
