Microsoft still did not pitch in some information about the existence of its next-generation Surface devices, specifically the sought after Microsoft Surface Pro 5. Tech enthusiasts are now starting to speculate that the rumored 2016 release of the latest devices may now be pushed to a much later date.

Some of these tech fans pointed out that the 2016 launch is not happening for the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 might be due to the Redstone 2 Windows 10 operating system update.

Windows tech experts such as Paul Thurrott and Tom Warren have been mum the past few months when it comes to the Microsoft Surface Pro 5. And, because of that, some tech fans have started to take this as some sort of indication that Microsoft might actually delay the launch of the said device, according to iDigital Times.

However, the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is now rumored to be released in the early 2017 with amazing features, and the reports pointed out that a lot of specifications will be added into the device. Surface Pro 5 is speculated to run a 4K resolution display, as well as Intel's latest development Kaby Lake chipset, based on the report of Christian Times.

Surface Pro 5 also comes along with 8 megapixels front camera and a 16 megapixels rear shooter.

That being said, other tech enthusiasts still got their hopes up to see the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 in the market, in spite of the fact that there are rumors that the device may not come out anytime soon. Some fans believe that the Redmond-based tech giant might actually release the device this month to go up against Apple's MacBook Pro 2016.

Unfortunately, it seems Microsoft may have a different plan, as previous reports have claimed that the tech company will unveil the Surface All-in-One PC this October 2016, instead of rolling out the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 device, MNR Daily reported.
