After months of waiting, tech fans are getting desperate to see the new MacBook Air 2016, but the waiting has now almost come to an end. A tech analyst boldly predicts that the release date of the new MacBook Air is just around the corner.

When Apple Inc. displayed both the models of their MacBook Air 2016 at the news conference that took place at their headquarters a while back, a tech analyst said in a statement that the new MacBook Air is the thinnest laptop ever and the upcoming device is even better due to the new operating system, according to The News Recorder.

Rhoda Alexander, Director Tablet and Notebook PCs at IHS Technology, is considering that the highly anticipated Apple laptop will finally be launched sometime next month, alongside the new iteration of the MacBook Pro 2016.

The tech analyst even shared that production of the devices started in the second quarter, which refreshes the 13.3-inch and 15.4-inch MacBook Pro, as well as the 13.3-inch MacBook Air, based on the report of Forbes.

However, while tech fans are very excited about the tidbit on the MacBook Pro 2016 laptop, the main takeaway from the tech analyst's comment is the news that the Cupertino based tech company is not dropping its Air lineup.

Speculations have swirled around the online world since March, that Apple is quietly phasing out the Air lineup as its main selling point of lightweight products, but it seems to have become a moot. This is because most of the Apple devices have been linked to the same concept, according to Vine Report.

Anyway, MacBook Air 2016 is said to come along with a four type-C USB ports, a MagSafe power connector, an Apple Pencil, a 5K Thunderbolt display, AMD Polaris graphics processor. Also, the device is expected to run on 8 gigabyte of RAM, 1 terabyte of internal storage, and the latest Mac OS Sierra operating system, Christian Daily reported.
