MacBook Pro 2016 & MacBook Air To Arrive In October, Analyst Claims

By

Apple Inc. may set free its new MacBook Pro 2016 in October, in which the machine will become the first revision since 2015. The MacBook Air 2016 could accompany the MacBook Pro 2016 during the company's unveiling next month.

The new MacBook Pro 2016 was expected to launch in September, and it has been said that the 2016 models will roll without the Kaby Lake chipset. In the current Apple product line, the MacBook Pro is on top of the performance range of the MacBook lineup, and the entry-level for the MacBook Air.

The MacBook Pro 2016 was unveiled during Apple's Spring Forward media event in March 2015, in which the improved 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro is currently the latest version of the MacBook Pro. Apple's device comes along with several improvements over the 2014 version, which includes a faster flash storage, superior Intel graphics, Broadwell processor, a Force Touch trackpad, and enhanced battery life, according to The USB Port.

As stated by Rhoda Alexander, an analyst from IHS Securities, the Cupertino based tech company has the intention to launch the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air on October 2016.

Alexander went on saying that as the production of both machines began during the second quarter of 2016, and if the new MacBook Pro and MacBook Air will be released in October, then it simply means the high end laptops won't be packed with an Intel Kaby Lake processor, Forbes reported.

However, as Alexander did not provide the specifics regarding the imminent release of Apple's new laptops. Speculations then leads that the tech company is refreshing its Mac hardware lineup this year, which includes the Air as well as the Pro series, based on the report of Bloomberg.

Anyway, rumor has it that the MacBook Air is getting updated with its multi-functional USB-C ports, while the Pro will reduce its size to complement its flatter keyboard.
