Motorola Moto E3 Power and Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus are 5-inch Android phones with many similarities. Check out the differences!

Lenovo K5 Plus vs Moto E3 Power: Design and display

Both smartphones come in 5-inch size but Moto E3 Power weighs around 11 grams heavier than Vibe K5 Plus as listed in GSM Arena. That is quite a gap. As dual-SIM phones, the handsets pack IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen but Lenovo manages to equip the K5 Plus with better screen resolution (1080 x 1920 pixels) and good view under the sunlight with its 441 ppi pixel density.  Moto E3 Power offers a considerably lower resolution with 720 x 1280 pixels and adequate 294 ppi pixel density.

As for the design, Moto E3 Power looks identical to Moto G4 Play. It's a sturdy phone but not with the best design. The budget phone seems to lack of premium feel unlike the K5 Plus. However, the good thing is that E3 Power is splash-proof - in case you would like to bring it for a 'fun by the poolside' - but not inside.

Moving to Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus - the phone comes with aluminum body and it feels nicer to hold. It has LED notification, too - something that E3 Power does not.

Lenovo K5 Plus vs Moto E3 Power: Hardware and software

Moto E3 Power camera is fast to focus but it offers average quality with the 8 MP - 5 MP pairing. The video recorder can shoot 720p@30fps. The camera gets basic features with a few modes and LED Flash for the primary shooter.

The Vibe K5 Plus gets 13 MP and 5 MP cameras. On paper, the rear shooter offers higher spec than in Moto E3 Power but the image quality seems to be a bit disappointing. When shooting in low-light condition, K5 Plus camera result shows its weakness. Hence, the camera optics in K5 Plus is not the best and Moto E3 Power is still ahead of the competition in terms of quality image.

And since Moto E3 Power was just launched recently, it runs newer Android OS, the Marshmallow whilst K5 Plus still tastes Lollipop. Lenovo equips K5 Plus with Snapdragon 616 processor - it has octa-core CPU and 2GB of RAM paired with 16 GB of internal storage.

Moto E3 Power has the same RAM and memory but its Mediatek MT6735P processor offers quad-core CPU. Thus, it can be argued that K5 Plus is ahead of Moto E3 Power when it comes to multitasking performance.

Other features being offered by K5 Plus include the rich audio quality with Dolby audio for the two speakers located at the back side. This can be considered a disadvantage as it would have much better audio quality if the speakers are placed at the front panel.

There is no overheating issue in K5 Plus when used for gamings unlike Moto E3 Power that shows a lag. University Herald has also made a comparison between E3 Power and Redmi 3S for gaming.

Moto E3 Power has larger battery with 3,500 mAh capacity that features turbo charging as well. The K5 Plus offers 2,750 mAh battery without fast-charging feature.
