Rihanna is busy with her "work, work, work, work, work." But she makes sure to have time for something that matters to her. The 28 year old artist is now known as the new global ambassador for the Global Partnership for Education.

Known as a famous singer and song writer, Rihanna's role is now to encourage everybody to support global education. She aims to particularly encourage world leaders and nations' policy makers to increase their support for global education. According to Just Jared, she supports education in "emergencies through the Global Partnership for Education."

Global Partnership for Education is a global organization that focuses on improving education in the world's poorest countries.

Rihanna herself grew up in a poor state. She grew up with siblings from different mothers and sold clothes in a stall on the street. But she was blessed to be able to attend the Charles F. Broome Memorial Primary School and Combermere High School. In addition, she was also an army cadet in a sub military programme. She had a dream to pursue a medical career. But fate brought her to music instead.

Now, Rihanna's mission is to help those who need it the most. Education is supposed to be for everybody. The artist feels that children every where should be able to receive education as a right.

"I feel strongly that all children everywhere should be afforded the opportunity of a quality education," Rihanna said in a statement.

Rihanna has not yet provided her agenda as the global ambassador. But with her leading this initiative, it is something the world looks forward to.

"Therefore I'm proud to announce Clara Lionel Foundation's partnership with education advocacy leaders like the Global Partnership for Education and Global Citizen. Working together, I know we can amplify our efforts and ensure that millions of children gain access to education globally," says the multi-awarded singer.
