"Burnout Paradise" is one of the most wanted games with backward compatibility  for Xbox One. Unfortunately, the game developer, Criterion, said that the racing game is still in the works.

Over a year ago, Criterion Games announced that they were talking to Microsoft about bringing the "Burnout Paradise" to Xbox One.  Even though there have been some development since the announcement on July 2015, fans are concerned whether the backward compatibility would happen. Criterion's answer to the question was "soon", Videogamer reported.

"Burnout Paradise" was a racing game released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 back in 2008. The developlers took the game into an open-world setting and gained popularity over the years.

Meanwhile, Phil Spencer of Microsoft teased on Twitter about the coming of other games in the backwards compatibility program of Xbox One. The "Bioshock" games, which would include the "Bioshock", "Bioshock 2", and "Bioshock Infinite" was confirmed to be included to the catalogue with "Skate 3". However, these games are not released yet.

While "Burnout Paradise" backward compatibility is still in the works, there are many other requested games that fans want to have. Currently, here are the top most-requested games in the Xbox Feedback site: "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare", "Call of Duty: Black Ops II", "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2","The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim", and "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3". All of these games have earned more than  100,000 votes from gamers.

While these games are being requested by the fans, there is still no guarantee that they will be added to the backward compatibility program. As we know, the program does not set a release date for the games and only comes out whenever it is ready.
