The very famous mobile hit game Pokemon Go creator John Hanke have recently pronounced that Augmented Reality (AR) is way better than Virtual Reality (VR). AR and VR are considered rival and totally opposite from each other in the sense that the former takes virtual objects back to the real world while the latter does the exact opposite: transporting people into the virtual world.

Because of this, Hanke insists that AR is a more interesting and beneficial option for not only the technology in itself, but for individuals in general as well. He pointed out and stressed the principle behind the Niantic Labs as well as its products. In a Recode interview, he shared that at square one, the games their company have been producing encourages individuals to go out in the open and discover cool places.

In other words, Niantic envisions to create and develop games as well as technologies that aims to let individuals go away from their seats and move about outside the corridors of their comfort. Pokemon Go is a manifestation of this technology, letting individuals go out and look for monsters on the streets or anywhere outside the vicinity of any particular establishment, according to Gamasutra.

This vision of the company seems to be appropriate enough to let people go outside their houses as manifested by the millions of players of Pokemon Go around the world. Moreover, the game has also flooded social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Snapchat in a daily basis and sometimes outrun these sites for users play more than they surf their social networking accounts.

Flow of income and cash is expected to finance Niantic to be able to develop further the game Pokemon Go as well as the AR Technology. As of the moment, the company is continuing its research to be able to develop the perfect gadget to enhance the AR gaming experience: the AR Glasses.
