Wake Forest University will welcome the only child of former U.S president Bill Clinton and 2016 Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton today, September 13 in light of a leadership conference for women. Here, Clinton is set to share some advocacy and plans that her mother has for mothers, families and the economy of North Carolina. Her presence in the university is very timely since the election date is only 60 days away.

Clinton will not be the first to share her insights onstage of Wake Forest. The university founded in 1834 has housed several other speech events before during presidential campaigns. It has also been the venue of debates between notable people in the likes of Al Gore and George W. Bush last 2008. Going further back in time, the late George Bush and Michael Dukakis have exchanged their thoughts in the very same location. However, this would be the 36 year-old, Stanford University graduate's first time to visit for a general election trip. Winston-Salem Journal confirms that after the panel visit, she will be heading straight to Raleigh tomorrow. The trip's cause would be to share her and her mother's thoughts on innovation and technology. This is to be followed by a grand opening of the Durham campaign office. It will surely be a busy week for the former NBC special correspondent.

Chelsea Clinton has her name established in the world of non-governmental entities working for the Clinton Foundation since 2011. She has also worked for well-known bodies such as, but not limited to Avenue Capital Group, Common Sense Media and the New York University. She took her undergraduate degree at Stanford University and later gained her master's from Columbia University and Oxford.

It can be recalled that Clinton has also previously visited various campuses in the U.S towards her mother, Hillary Clinton's presidential nomination last 2007 and 2008.
