Lenovo K6 Power specs review: Design, hardware and software

The K6 Power is a slightly upgraded phone from the K6. The major differences are the battery capacity, RAM and the SIM card option.

Lenovo K6 Power offers Dual SIM or Single SIM - all in micro size. It sports 5 inch display, 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution with 441 ppi pixel density, GSM Arena wrote.

Running Android Marshmallow, Lenovo K6 Power is powered by octa-core, Snapdragon 430 under the hood. There are two variants of storage: 16 GB with 2 GB RAM, and 32 GB with 3 GB RAM.

For the optics, Lenovo equips K6 Power with 13 MP of rear camera (dual LED flash) and 8 MP of front camera. It offers huge battery capacity, 4,000 mAh, non-removable. The LTE phone gets fingerprint scanner and Dolby Atmos to deliver excellent audio quality.

Lenovo K5 Note is a dual-SIM smartphone that sports 5.5 inch screen. It runs android Lollipop and is powered by octa-core Helio P10. Internal storage gets 32 GB of space; whether user chooses to go with 3GB or 4GB RAM.

The camera specs are the same with K6 Power. Fingerprint sensor, Dolby Atmos and Bluetooth 4.1 are the components that both phones get. K5 Note offers 3,500 mAh non-removanle battery - a slightly lower capacity than the K6 Power.

Lenovo K5 Note or K6 Power?

Those who still haven't decided whether to go with K5 Note or K6 Power; it really depends on the personal preference. And to take note, there is no significant improvement in the new phone compared to the K5 Note. In fact, K5 Note is more powerful in terms of specs and performance; compared to the K6 Power.

The K6 Power is priced around $127 whilst K5 Note is priced around $288. They both belong in different classes. Users who prefer smaller screen can opt for the K6 Power. Users who want to upgrade their phone with newer OS, bigger RAM but feel that the K6 Note is a little too expensive; budget-friendly K6 Power can be a great buy.
