Looks like Samsung is all set to take the wraps off the purported Galaxy X foldable phone equipped with a 4K OLED screen that is said to be a game changer as far as Android smartphones are concerned.

Rumor mills have been swirling a slew of speculations around a foldable smartphone screen from Samsung for several weeks. The speculation was upheld by the fact that the company unveiled a foldable 4K screen.

The South Korean tech giant has remained mum and has divulged no details regarding its plan to use the said Bio Blue foldable screen; nor has the company disclosed the phone that will feature the new tech. However, this hasn't stopped rumor mills from churning speculations around the said technology.

Rumors are running rampant that the Samsung Galaxy X will be the first smartphone to boast the Bio Blue, which reportedly transcends the current OLED panels offered by the company, according to reports on KnowYourMobile.

The Galaxy X is one of the five speculated flagships for 2017 - the company's Project Valley, TheUSBPort reported.

Project Valley is said to be the Samsung's code name for the ongoing development of foldable smartphones. If rumors doing rounds are anything to go by, the Bio Blue 4K screen could be one of the chief ingredients for the Project Valley phone specs and the Galaxy X could be the first device to be unveiled next year.

Samsung took the wraps off its first flexible OLED display at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2013, and the aforesaid Bio Blue 4K screen seems to be a colossal leap compared to the precursor. Samsung is promoting the screen technology as brighter and more vivid as compared to the OLED panels that they have on their existing phones - including the Galaxy Note 7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge.

The Samsung Galaxy X foldable smartphone sporting the much-lauded Bio Blue 4K screen is likely to be announced by the end of the year at the earliest. Samsung has not yet confirmed the Project Valley; however an official announcement regarding the matter is expected in the near future.
