The "Resident Evil" Franchise is about to wrap up the series after long years of waiting. The "Final Chapter's" first international trailer is already out signaling the near release of the film series' finale.

The movie is based on Capcom's famous video game "Resident Evil".  This game is also the most successful that they have ever made which grossed over one billion dollars worldwide. The series left off at "Resident Evil: Retribution" where Alice, the main character who is played by Milla Jovovich, became the only survivor what should be the last stand against the enemy. Now, Alice need to go back to ground zero -Raccoon City where Umbrella Corporation was located and where the contagion first started, according to ComingSoon.net .

The first international trailer retains its original title, "Biohazard". It was the title that the game used when it was first released before it was called "Resident Evil".  Big fans of the video game and movie franchise of "Resident Evil" would easily recognize the trailer as it has a lot of similarities with the previous trailers. This film is the best adaptation of a video game so far. Previous films are huge success just like its video game counterpart, Cinema Blend reported.

Alice (Milla Jovovich), was the main character of the movie. But she was the only thing missing in the video game. Alice was only found in the movie, however, all other characters are mostly based on the video game series of "Resident Evil". Even the mutated zombie adaptations from the game are very similar.

The filmmakers of the "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter"  , Sony's Screen Gem, would try to outdo the previous performance of the film which gathered a good amount of earnings in the box offices. Starring in this film are Milla Jovovich, Shawn Roberts, Lee Joon-Gi, Eoin Macken, Ruby Rose, William Levy and Iain Glen who would most likely be playing the role of the the big bad villain.

"Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" is directed by Paul W.S. Anderson and would hit the theaters on January 27.
