The "Young and the Restless" is rumored to see the possible exit of Justin Hartley who plays the role of Adam Newman, due to his primetime casting on the new series, "This Is Us." Hartley revealed that he has not made any plans on leaving the "Young and the Restless" yet, but he admitted that it is something he needs to consider in the future.

Hartley is one of the central characters in "This Is Us," the widely buzzed series that was received positively by viewers during its trailer debut. He confirmed that he will have a busy schedule in shooting the said show which might give possibility to his exit from the "Young and the Restless," Inquisitr reported.

The actor admitted that he may get a break from the "Young and the Restless" and cannot tell yet if he can actually do both shows as he will now be seen in three different networks. He went on to explain that when he talked to CBS about doing the "Young and the Restless," the network agreed to let him do ABC's "Mistresses."

The script of "This Is Us" was presented to Hartley by his friend Michael Rady. He then expressed how he knew he had to do the part and would do everything to get it.

Hartley also said that "This Is Us" is special to him and expressed how he likes the episodes that are getting better. This may mean that his departure from the "Young and the Restless" is really a possibility. This may be upsetting for the fans as the actor's fiancee Chrishell Stause recently scored a recurring role on the show as Bethany, We Love Soaps reported.

The "Young and the Restless" currently sees Hartley in jail for a crime he did not commit. The show airs every Monday to Friday at 12:30 p.m. Watch a shirtless Hartley in one of  "The Young And The Restless" episodes.
