After a four-month hiatus, Brock Lesnar made his much-awaited return to Monday Night Raw on August 1, just days ahead of his match against Randy Orton at WWE SummerSlam 2016.

Lesnar did not make an appearance on WWE TV since he defeated Dean Ambrose at WrestleMania 32 in front of more than 100,000 fans at AT&T Stadium. However, Lesnar continued to be in the public eye, fighting Mark Hunt at UFC 200 on July 9, and later grabbed the headlines citing numerous failed tests for performance-enhancing drugs.

Lesnar's win over Hunt in his return to UFC stirred conversations about his future with WWE. Would Lesnar have more MMA fights after winning what WWE dubbed as "one off?"

However, the news that he failed a couple of drug tests just before his big-league fight, ruled out any possibility of him stepping inside that Octagon anytime soon, International Business Times reported.

Amid these speculations, Lesnar made his return to the squared ring, accompanied by his manager Paul Heyman who even gave him a new nickname, "The Beast of the Brocktagon" citing his controversial win at UFC 200.

But "The Viper" had different plans.

While Lesnar chose to remain mum in his promo, Heyman guaranteed that Randy Orton didn't stand a chance against "The Beast" in their forthcoming headline match at SummerSlam 2016.

As Heyman continued to rant and rave, Orton jumped in the ring and hit Lesnar with an RKO, literally out of nowhere."The Apex Predator" then escaped through the crowd while Lesnar just smiled at him as he posed among the fans, Fox Sports reported.

Nevertheless, Orton beating Lesnar in his return match seems unlikely; in fact "The Beast Incarnate" is a 1/2 favorite at SummerSlam. Orton, on the other hand has 7/5 betting odds.
