There is something about Star Wars that transcends generations, as well as capture the hearts of those that have experienced it.

During the event fans were treated with a special presentation by the Star Wars Celebration Panel, entitled "Creature, Droids & Aliens of Star Wars: The Force Awakens." The presentation perfectly captures the essence of Star Wars crossing-over between generations yet still retaining its charm and quality. The panel consists of practical effect innovators from the Star Wars creature shop, and gave out information about their hand in the latest Star Wars film, Star Wars: The Force Awakensm, and their work at the upcoming Star Wars spin-off, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

The panel was hosted by actor Warwick Davis, who has been known to have played roles in multiple Star Wars movies, and is also cast in the Harry Potter movie franchise. The practical effects panel kicked it off with short montage showcasing the geniuses hard at work, and showed glimpses of their experiences in designing and building fantastical creatures and robots as their profession.
They next featured the process of how a Star Wars creature comes to life, all while Davis walks down the row of guests and asking them to discuss more about their contribution to the creature creation process.

Afterwards, Neal Scanlan, head of the creature shop and concept designer, displayed a number of alien heads to Davis, among which is an alien head that little money was spent on, but was impressive, and clearly shows the genius behind the creations.
